how to solve the Shrinkage for the silicone molds
For the tin cured silicone, it will absorb some moisture when curing , and the silicone is totally cured, it will release the low molecules, that lead to the shrinkage, generally speaking, if the shrinkage have great effect on the mix ration of hardner , more hardner added , large shrinkage. So generally we just suggest our customers to make the mix ratio at 100:3 is enough
As for the platinum curd silicone is cured for the platinum cured agent,it doesn't absorb the moisture and don't release any small molecules, so the shrinkage is low to 0.1% .
And also, if you don't use the silicone molds , here we suggest you to pour some liquid gpysum into the silicone molds , and keep them in the cold windly place, it has great effection on the shrinkage control .
